Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain responsive, high-performance applications using PHP (backend) and TypeScript (frontend).

  • Architect and optimize relational databases using Postgres, ensuring data integrity and performance.

  • Leverage AI development tools like Cursor and Claude to accelerate coding workflows, refactor legacy code, and maintain high standards of efficiency.

  • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, pixel-perfect, and functional code.

  • Write maintainable, well-documented code and participate in peer code reviews to ensure high code quality.

  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and cross-stack technical debt.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Participate in Agile development processes, including Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and story estimation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications.

  • Deep expertise in PHP and modern TypeScript development.

  • Strong experience with Postgres (or similar relational databases like MySQL/Oracle) and writing efficient SQL queries.

  • Proficiency in AI-assisted coding, with a proven ability to use tools like Cursor or Claude to enhance productivity and code quality.

  • Strong experience building responsive and performant user interfaces using modern HTML and CSS.

  • Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and managing complex state.

  • Experience with version control tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, or GitHub.

  • Experience working within Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Jira stories, sprint cycles).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a "get-it-done" mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a distributed team.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with Laravel Cloud or similar modern PHP deployment and hosting environments.

  • Experience with microservice architectures and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with reactive patterns or modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue).
